Panel Beating & Spraying
Once a quote has been approved, the car will move into the inspection bay where a 60 point check will be carried out and a job card will be created for the repairs that need to be completed on the vehicle.
Depending on the damage to the vehicle will determine which repair area the car will move to, if the vehicle has major damage the vehicle will be taken to the chassis repair area where the car will be repaired structurally and then moved onto the paint shop.
Masking of a vehicle is very important in the paint spraying process, masking allows overspray to stay off other panels as well as protects other panels from dust and paint particles. Once the car has been masked the car moves into our spray booth, the vehicle is sealed in and the dust is sucked out of the room, the spraying is then begun and once the coating is finished the panels are left to bake at 60 degrees for 1 hour.
The vehicle now moves onto the polishing and assembly bay where each panel is polished to a high finish and then assembled to the car, the car is then polished again to ensure a high shine over the entire car. The car is finally washed to ensure that the paint is sealed and hardened correctly and a final inspection is done before the hand over.

Restoration
Rebuilds
At CAR AUTOMOTIVE REFINISHERS we specialize in total restorations right down to the very last nut and bolt on the car. Total nut and bolt rebuilds are available on any vehicle make or model, large or small. Any faults or imperfections found during the rebuild process would be identified and discussed with the customer.
Body
All body work is carried out to the highest standard using original panels if available. Repair sections can be fabricated in either steel or aluminium. Specialist body panels can also be made patterns or drawings.
Mechanical, Electrics & Trim
We offer a full mechanical engineering service from minor mechanical repairs to full engine rebuilds, transmission, suspension and brake rebuilds. All our mechanical work is done by our external expert team who have collective experience.
Paintwork
All paint work carried out from a fully prepared bare metal state is covered by a 5 year warranty. We use a fully complementary paint system and all paint work is hand finished to give a beautifully original classic look.
